I had an amazing experience at Tastee Spoon in Dunwoody Perimeter! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the customer service was outstanding. A special thank you to Garth, our waiter, who was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. I also want to recognize Ms.Chermaine, who was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. If you're looking for great food and exceptional service, I highly recommend stopping by Tastee Spoon. Please support Garth and Ms.Chermaine, hey truly made our experience memorable!

The restaurant is very enjoyable to visit because the atmosphere is comfortable and has a great Carribean vibe! My food was served by a very friendly young lady named J'hnell who helped me make great food choices based on how dishes are paired. I absolutely enjoyed the jerk chicken....which was not overly spicy. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection and quite filling considering the generous portion provided. But, the star of the show was the homemade Callaloo. It was made with genuine love. This place is well worth patronizing!

Overall I am not satisfied with my purchase today. I used to frequent here a while back. I would usually get the likkle ochi salmon or the jerk salmon pasta. Today, I got the jerk salmon pasta and its nothing like I remembered. The picture doesn't do any justice to how dry and just unappetizing my meal was smh. Literally, feeling nauseas after eating it. The patties was the best thing I got! I also ordered a drink while I waited, it was part of the better side of the visit. They weren't busy at all. So disappointed that this was my experience after a 45min + ride! I dont think I'll return.

Leaving this review for both locations bc people need to knowwww! 5 stars all around. My bf and I came to the to-go location on a whim after seeing it while on 85 & I’m so happy we did. The food is impeccable — some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had in my 30+ years and I’m willing to bet on that. I’ve had Jamaican food in NY, ATL, shoot Jamaica.. and none of it compares to what I just ate. After a 10 min ride home everything was still piping hot. We ordered brown stew chicken & bbq jerk chicken w/ rice & peas, cabbage and plantains on the side, cornbread and beef patties. Everything was moist, and fresh. The beef patties are homemade & have clearly never met a freezer a day in their life. The honey cornbread tastes like it was homemade in a skillet - my only “complaint”, don’t do orders of 3 bc we’re fighting over this last piece 😂. The owner needs a paragraph of her own. After we ordered she literally turned on the stove to prepare everything fresh. She chatted with us and gave us complimentary sodas and a macaroni sample. I’m not even a macaroni fan and that was the creamiest cheesiest Mac I’ve had in ages. This is so close to my house I’m worried about my wallet and my waist

I am updating because my sexy server says that a review from 7 months ago is too long. I enjoyed my meal yet again and definitely appreciated Monet's service. For the prices the portions are humongous. I couldn't finish it all. Definitely happy and content little camper here. I ran across this establishment quite accidentally. Out of a strip mall with almost everything closed down was this bustling little Jamaican restaurant offering me an unexpected chance for a taste of home. I was immediately pleased with the menu as it has been hard to find authentic Jamaican restaurant that have fried dumplings and of course that is immediately what I asked for. But let me backup, I was seated and placed my order and they brought this cornbread to my table that was the best I've had. Amazed me and then I ordered the Ackee and Saltfish with the afore mentioned fried dumplings. HEAVEN!!! While I sat and ate, a tear fell from my eye to watch a steady flow of my beautiful countrymen flow in and patronize this wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend and will be returning.
